Hi All, 

As per usual, I want to open up with a thank you. Your tremendous support has ABC++ going strong. Production is rolling along, and sometime sooner than later I'm sure we will have more specifics on those details. How you get those details is why I am sending out an update today. 

We have had a lot of pre-orders that have come in after the Kickstarter closed. Of course, said pre-orderers don't receive these updates, and so we are switching over project updates to a more traditional newsletter service.  

For you this really just means you will get an email from an Inedo.com address, rather than a Kickstarter one.  Hopefully that's not too jarring, but I wanted to give you all a heads up, before the change over. 

There will probably be some overlap over the next few updates to make sure we get everyone on board, so sorry in advance for any redundant messages.

Thanks to so many of you for filling out our BackerKit survey!  For those of you who haven't had the chance to yet, please do so, it makes sure we can get you your reward as soon as possible.

After a bit of work, the new site is ready to go. Here you can:

• See the full preview of the book, complete with some author hints about the puns in each illustration.
• Pre-order the book or any of the other rewards
• Learn a little about the team that created the book, including, of course, our Honorary Editors.  
• Download your digital reward, the ABC++ Coloring Book!

Thanks for all your feedback on the poll! It wasn’t quite a 6 way tie, but it was close. How did we break said tie?

We didn’t. We are just giving you more stickers. Behold the power of democracy.

If you are staring at this with envy and desire, relax. If you got a copy of the book, you are getting this fine poster.

The Great Sticker Debate

Hi,

We are working on a few last things such as the posters, and of course the book edits you suggested; but otherwise, Programming Languages ABC++ is ready to go.

We do need a little input from you to make sure you get your stuff!

Stickers!

We need your help to decide which stickers will be getting shipped out with the books! To do so we just need you to rank your favorites! 

BackerKit

You will all have emails from BackerKit coming to you soon. This email will have a quick survey in it that asks for the following:

• Your shipping details
• Specifics about your rewards (i.e. shirt types, sizes, info for author dedications, etc.)
• Any add-ons you want to order  

Additionally, we are still taking orders through BackerKit, in case you want to order extra copies of the book, or you have a friend who missed the campaign. 

With that in mind, we will be placing our print order as soon as Kickstarter releases the funds to us. That means these pre-orders will only available for a limited time.

We did it! Well, actually, you did it.

Thanks to your overwhelming support, our Kickstarter campaign not just funded, but hit each and every stretch goal we could imagine. We are all very humbled and very thrilled that you're just as excited about this project as we are.

So What's Next?

Some time in the next week or so, you'll receive a "survey" from our Backerkit portal where you can enter your address, select your options, and purchase some of the add-ons like a T-shirt and larger poster. Your friends and colleagues will also be able to pre-order from that site as well.

In the mean time, we're preparing all of the material for print, which means...

Second Set of Eyes?

We have the draft book available; if you notice any errors or typos we missed, please don't hesitate to let us know! In fact anyone who provides helpful feedback on the book will be recognized and permanently enshrined as honorary editors when the inedo.com/abc website goes live!
